Blue Square Premier - Altrincham v Wrexham

Altrincham is another struggling team, who was supposed to be relegated previous season, but due to some financial problems of other teams got so called wildcard to play in this league for another season. They gathered 4 points so far which is not that bad, but they got them against Woking who lost all games so far and newcomers Kettering. They lost to another newcomers Barrow (3:4) and got demolished in the last round at Kidderminster by 4:0.Visitors are coming from a deserved victory over Oxford (2:0) and they are building their momentum. They played against much tougher opposition than the hosts and still managed to gather 7 points so far. Their only loss came away at York, which was the only game where they failed to score. Visitors are class above Altrincham in all areas and I expect them to cruise towards another victory. They even had 2 days more to prepare for this game which is a major plus for them. Hosts will miss defender Chris Lane, Val Owen and Lee Elam, whereas Wrexham`s coach has all his guns at dispossal. I expect both teams to score and something like 1-2 or 1-3 in the end. Good luck!
