You could argue that Boro are the "form" side going into this fixture, although after just 1 game, anyone who trots that old saying out needs their head testing. Liverpool have started with a win which is all you want from your opening day fixture, and that it was gained at the black cats ground means quite a bit as I reckon they will do better than relegation fodder this year. Torres was quiet until his great strike, but if he does that every game, scousers will be happy. Gerrard was quite in the week against the czechs, but this sort of game should see him back "home" and the kop faithful will be chamting his name as they cruise to 3 points against another very poor performer away from their home ground.
