We have a clash between Finnish powerhouse Jokerit and Swedish Frolunda. There are few things that go in Swedish favor and i will try to explain it in short.

First, impression that teams left so far. Jokerit lost three and won one with the goal difference of 12:14. Their results so far:

Jokerit - HV-71 2:3

Jokerit - Linkopings 2:4

Jokerit - Farjestadts 3:4

Jokerit - Tappara 5:3

Last two games were played out of Helsinki, in Joensuu and Tikkurila. Although Jokerit started preparations more then a week before their Swedish opposition they lost all three games, winning finally over Finnish Tappara. Jokerit was quite average in those games.

Frolunda is 3rd so far, three wins and a loss, 8:6 GD. Their results:

TPS Turku - Frolunda 4:1

HIFK - Frolunda 0:1

Karpat - Frolunda 1:3

Farjestadts - Frolunda 1:3

As you can see this will be their first home game this season, and i think it's big plus for them. In first match against Turku they used some junior players, and missed six or seven regular seniors. Today they will miss only Fredrik Pettersson, all other players are ready and fit. Frolunda improved a lot since first round and are currently in great shape, i could compare them with Linkopings.

Another plus that i see for them is more time to rest. Jokerit played though game just two days ago, while Frolunda had six days to prepare for this match.

Motivation shouldn't be questionable, Frolunda plays first time at home this season, they were finalists last year and certainly want to make good result here. Jokerit wasn't impressive at all so far, this is their first season in Nordic Trophy and i think they experiment a lot. 1.90 is great odds under this circumstances, especially as Frolunda should be more fresh which could prove important in preparation tournament like this...
