Durham were many pundits fancies to win the Pro40 Div 1 this season, Although at this moment in time they are bottom of the table!! A victory tonight will see them back in with a shout a defeat and there Pro40 title hopes are over, Its a big game for the Durham boys.

Nottinghamshire have made a very impressive start to there Pro40 campaign and sit top of the table with 3 wins from 4, Victory here today will give them a 2 point cushion and im sure would lead to them taking the title.

Nottinghamshire were beaten last time out against Somerset and have been chopping and changing there top order of late, Jefferson came in last match and hit a nice 50, but his season has been a nightmare so far. The Notts batting is quite strong but really the Notts side as a whole is made up of nothing more than decent bit part players at best.

Durham on paper have a great side, Top batsmen all the way down to 8, International bowlers galore and some very good fielders, It should make them a very tough 1 day side to beat, They are perhaps under performing this season however.

At 5/6 (1.83) Durham look well worth backing today, Like for like they are a much better side than Notts and the price is very nice in my opinion.
