Olympics W. Soccer - Japan v USA

This is actually a QF match between Italy and USA in women volleyball Olympic tournament.

I don't know what happened with the draw but how did Italy,Russia and Brazil get in one group I don't understand.In the other teams were of course hosts China,Cuba and USA.So the quality is certainly much more bigger in the group A and Italy had a much bigger task to do.

So far Italy has done a very good job in this tournament.They have finished second in the group A behind Brazil.Except that one loss against the best team in the world in three sets they won all other 4 matches losing just one set against Russia.They are very experience team and all that this team is missing is a medal at Olympic games.All of their players are playing in Italy,the strongest league in Europe and they had plenty of important matches like this one in their career.

USA is a good team who have finished 3rd in their group behind China and Cuba,only opponents they were good in their group.They didn't have any success in recent years actually since 2002. and judging form their matches in a group phase it will be very unrealistic to expect from them to beat better and much more experience Italian players.
