Championship - Bristol City v Derby

I like this handicap. I just out on a slight bit of value on Derby as odds dropped slightly, but having said that this is still a very good offer.

Derby got their 1st win under Paul Jewell during the week in the league cup despite it coming in extra time will be a confidence boost for them. Ellington got himself a Hat-Trick and this will really do his confidence the world of good. They didn't really play all that badly against Doncaster last weekend either and they really could have got a result from that game on another day. Defensivly they have some big guys at the back which is always good to have. Stubbs will miss out here but Davis and Leacock will probably fill in at the back. Savage could play in this game which is good imo as he will chase down and get stuck in and this would help Derby win the midfield battle. Commons, Ellington and Hulse will provide Derby with an attacking edge aswell.

I went against this Bristol City side on quite alot of occasions last season and got stung so i will show them a little bit more respect this time around. Maynard is a very good buy and he will score goals in this division but with the exception of this they have a similar squad to last season and i think that this year, teams will be more aware of them and what they will do and although im not really expecting them to struggle i would be very surprised if they compete towards the top half of the league.

For me, the value here is on th away side who i feel will come into this game with a little bit more confidence. I'll take the + handicap here @ plus money! GL!
