NRL Rugby - Rabbitohs v Manly Sea Eagles

I wanted to watch how the Storm backed up after last weeks game between the two sides before I made a decision on this game,last weeks game between the two front runners was pretty physical and I wanted to see how the Storm responed to that before I looked at this game today,the Storm played as well as I thought they would and now it is Manlys turn to front up this week.

Manly lost to Melbourne last week but had chances to win that game but could'nt take them and it was also notable that the harder they tried the more their heads dropped in that game,Manly played to the best that they could and were really no match for the Storm and it must have an effect on them physcologicaly,Manly played agreat hard game and made little mistakes and yet they still ended up well short,this game this week for them is a real danger game as any side in this comp can beat the other and although the Bunnies are at the opposittite end of the scale compared to both the Sea Eagles and Storm it is a chance that the Bunnies can get up here if the Sea Eagles are off their game evenb slightly.Manly take an unchanged side into this game but I am really unsure as to where their head space will be at after last weeks game and against a side who this is ther last chance to make a run for the finals I think they might just get stuck into a real battle here today if they do not show up with the right mind set.

The Bunnies were well beaten by the Sharks last week and they played a poor game really with alot on the line in that gamne,this week they get a chance to atone themselves against the Sea Eagles and that is far harder than the game against the Sharks was last week,the Bunnies played well in patches but it was not a full effort in that game and it showed as the Sharks made tham look ordanary to say the least and at ageuss I would say that the Bunnies know that and will put a bit more in this weekend,they have a decent side and although playing the top side in the comp these two sides are not that far apart really in talent.

Recent results and the Bunnies have won only 1 of their last 6 against the Sea Eagles and that one win was in this fixture last year 24-18.But Souths at home have won 2 of the last 3 against the Sea Eagles.24-18 last year 20-26 the year before in which the Eagles won and 44-6 to the Bunnies in 2005.

I know that the 13-18 did'nt work out with the Storm and I am tempted to take that on this game also,when these two sides played at the beginning of this season at Brookvale I took that exact bet on the winning margin spread for the Eagles to win by 13-18 the final score was 20-2 so it worked out and like the Storm game I do think that the Eagles will win this game between 6-20 points but really it could be closer,this is it for the Bunnies a loss here and any chance is gone for them so alot hinges on this match for them,Manly have just come off another loss to a side who most are picking they will met in the Grand Final this season and now they are in danger of losing their place at the top of the table,the Storm won't lose again before the finals and so the pressure is really on Manly here and after last week I am not to sure exactly what that will do to them this week,you would be hard pressed for the Bunnies to get up in this one though and I think the Sea Eagles will sneak home by 6 -18 points,take that in the winning margin spreads but also have a bit of a dabble on the Bunnies to lay it all on the line and lose late...Good Luck.
