Olympics Basketball - China v Germany

From what I saw so far in this tournament I can't understand why is Germany favorite in this match.A crucial match for both side in the fight for QF and both sides will have to win this match.So because of that expect a huge home support for the hosts.

China has so far 1-2 record but they played against USA in the first round and lose after OT against Spain.With the terrific home support they have proved already against Spain how well they can play.They had a big lead in that match but great side like Spain kept their cool and find a way in the end to in the match mostly because of fantastic Rudy Fernandez.More or less Chinese play is based on three point shots and what can Yao Ming achieve in the basket.They fight to the last breath to get as far as they can and I think that a QF is at least their aim.

Germany is a team who cannot achieve anything great trough out the years.They practically manage to qualify for every competition but they never manage to get to the semifinal or maybe not even in the quarters.In their game everything depends on great star Dirk Nowitzki and how well he can play.If he doesn't have a good day expect a big defeat for this side.That's exactly what happened against Greece and Spain when he had only 13 and 11 points in the match.So clearly he is not in a good form so someone else will have to pull the strings for Germany but i can't see who will that be.

So take the China to go trough the QF.
