Championship - Sheffield Utd v QPR

Here we have probably the most solid value of the weekend in terms of the football betting. Sheffield Utd take on QPR at Bramell Lane.

Sheffield will feel very agrieved to have not got a result last weekend at Birmingham in a game where they showed they will be a side who will be in and around the top 6 spots this season. They have the steel in the midfield and really made it very difficult for Birmingham. Morgan and Kilgallon form a very solid defensive partnership whilst Speed gives them the experience needed in the middle of the park along with Quinn who is a very commited midfielder. In the attacking areas Henderson is always going to be a handfull along with Sharp who really started to find his feet under Blackwell towards the end of last season after a slow start. They have a very strong spine to their side and will most certainly be getting at QPR.

QPR have been very overated by the bookies this season in their predctions as to how well this side will perform. Yes they have the cash to spend to improve their side but despite some high profile overseas players joining i dont think that they have the fight and grit needed to get a result at Bramell lane. The foreign players might not like the tough physical side of the Blunts game and it also appears that the defence is still not quite strong enough for them as they are still soft at the back and concede goals.

I think that Sheff Utd have the quality to win this game and alo have the physical edge which in this league is always important and i expect the Blunts to win this game.
