Carling Cup - Crewe v Barnsley

After having a hunt about trying to find a winning bet in this match i decided i really like Bluesq's offer of Barnsley win or draw @1.44. Every bookie has priced up this match but this looks the best bet to me at a good price.

Simon Davey has stated he isnt going to ring the changes here in this match, but with a few injuries and a suspension forced changes are going to happen. We all remember Barnsleys fantastic FA Cup run of last season and some great results along the way (Chelsea and Liverpool) spring to mind. Davey is keen for another cup run to boost the coffers too. They led QPR away on saturday before slipping to a narrow defeat so will want to get a victory under there belts here.

Crewe are a side everyone likes, over the years they have produced and sold some great players, they have little choice as with low crowds they need all the help they can get to keep there heads above water. This summer they yet again sold a 'star' player, Nicky Maynards £2.25m move to Bristol City was a huge blow to them and his goals will be sorely missed this season. It promises to be a tough battle again for Crewe against relegation but while they continue to play attractive football they always have a chance. They begin there league 1 campaign with a home defeat on saturday.

I cant see Barnsley losing at Gresty Road tomorrow and the 2.37 on the outright win may well get a few of my hard earned cash too, 1.44 with the draw in my favour is my safest play on this match however.
