NRL Rugby - Gold Coast Titans v Newcastle Knights

The Titans are without Rodgers,Bailey and Prince but do get back Minichello for tonights game which is a big help to their cause, the Titans are missing alot of players but their real stregth in the last few seasons has been their backrow of whom neither Minichello or Lafranchii have been bo0th on the field at the same time for quite a while now,now while many might think that this is it for the Titans I tend to disagree, the Titans get alot of forward momentum through these two players and are worthy with it all on the line to get up here I think the Titans can and will show up tonight, they are at home and have been licking their wounds friom what was a big loss last week against the Storm that could of been by more had Smith had his kicking boots on,but the Titans can get up for games and at home are a chance thats for sure.
The knights were brilliant last week,I have seen a few teams starting to lift their performances but that effort from the Knights last week execution wise and defence wise was superb, the real question is can they do that again this week and I have my doubts, the Knights are a good side who have exceeded expectatations this season but they have had a problem with getting good wins back to back all season long, now while on Paper the Knights look to have the best side of these two teams away fromnewcastle and the Knights have had little luck in getting good calls and last week they got a few very nice calls at home to get a big lead over the Eels and they played accordingly to hang on and win well, but on the road this season the Knights are 4-5 and have scored only 188 points while allowing 180 and at the same time the Titans this season have scored at home more than 33 points more than the Knights and have conceeded 6 less points,so all in all the Titans are'nt that far out of this game at all.
Recent results and the Knights and Titans have won one a piece on their own home grounds.
While the Knights are favs in this game and rightly so I should add I find ithard to not give the Titans any benefit of the doubt here, while the Titans will not make the 8 in my mind this is the last chance saloon for them and I expect them to play accordingly to that script, the Titans like the Knights are a team of hard workers who toil for the full 80 mins and as this is their last chance to get something to keep their heads above water I am willing to say that the Titas are an outside chance here and will keep ths game very close and either win it or go down very late to the Knights...Good Luck.
