When the Yankees won the last 2 games of the series against the Angels everything appointed that they'll keep the pace and push forward the good momentum, but 2 games after they are back again to a slump.

Today they'll try to avoid 3 consecutive losses and to stop the Rangers they send to the mound one Ex-Ranger Pitcher Sidney Ponson 4.23 ERA 6-2. Ponson had some good and bad moments with the Yankees jersey, but after all the team is 4-2 with him in the mound. After an awful start against the Red Sox which he allowed 7 runs and 10 in just 4 Innings, Ponson bounced back nicely against the hottest team in that span: the Angels, and he went scoreless in 7 Innings allowing just 2 Hits! This game surely gave him a boost on their confidence; today Ponson has a revenge game for him as the Rangers released him saying that he was problematic for his ex-teammates.

The Rangers are in a good momentum winning 6 of their last 8 games and they send today Tommy Hunter to the mound. Hunter will make just the second game today and he didn't have exactly a good start in his debut. Against the Blue Jays he allowed 6 runs and 8 hits in just 87 pitches, eventually the Rangers won that game 9-8.

I know that the offense of the Rangers is winnings games lately by them self, but today this will be just hard to happen. Hunter against the Blue Jays didn't get a good start and facing a so much powerful team like the Yankees the scenario isn't better for him. Ponson have some personal issues to fix today and I expect a quality game for him, the Yankees are 4-1 in Ponson's last 5 starts as a favorite and I expect this happens today. The Yankees are 16-9 against the run line with double revenge - 2 straight losses vs. opponent this season, so I'm taking the Run Line in here
