NRL Rugby - Canterbury Bulldogs v Cowboys
Two sides at the wrong end of the table here as the Bulldogs face oiff against the just as hapless Cowboys...Whoo Hoo what a game we have in prospect here.
Is there any way to say that both these sides suck without saying it so bluntly?? No I don't think there is,to be honest whilst Parra willl get the Winners gong for "Best team that played Shit" Award for the 2008 season these two are both in the running for "???" of the season,at the beginning of this season the Bulldogs were not rated and the Cowboys were going to win it all this season, since then the Cowboys have played 3 quarters of the season with next to no one of any note and Thurston before getting injured was the only player looking like doing anything at all,the Bulldogs to have had their share of misfortunes this season as it culminated into the SBW saga over the last few weeks and has just spiralled to even lower depths now,so both sides have had their worries and both sides are missig players, one side is getting thrashed by 39 each week and the other is scoring but still gtetting beat by more than they can score or defend against, lets just g to recent results.
The Cowboys have a winning record against the Dogs having won 5 of the last 7 against the Doggies. The Cowboys have lost 13 in a row while the Bulldogs have lost their last 3.
For some reason the Bulldogs has this as a home game that is being played at Suncorp at Brisbane, they must have something on there as they played the Broncos here last season also as a Home game.
This game although in Brisbane is'nt as one sided towards the Cowboys I reckon,I hear thet Thurston might play but I have a feeling that the Bulldogs could do something here, the Dogs get Utai,Hickey and Hughes back tonight and also still have Maitua and Ryan in their pack,if the Dogs can click we might just see something from them I think, the Bulldogs also have Barba at Fullback which could be a chance for us to finally seee what all the fuss is about as he wil get space to run and if he is the New Matty Bowen then we might be in for something special.
This is more like a Home game for the Cowboys rather than a Home game for the Dogs but I am not writing them off,the Bulldogs still look as though they can score points and although the Cowboys will be thinking they can end their losing streak this game is a chance for the Bulldogs to get away fronm the Wooden Spoon and firmly give it to the Cowboys,Hard to tell who will win,the Cowboys are the Favs but I like the Dogs to get the upset, fingers crossed, the Bulldogs did win their last game here against the Broncos a few weeks ago....Good Luck
