NRL Rugby - Manly Sea Eagles vs Melbourne Storm Rugby betting preview

Last season these tw sides meet in the Grand Final with the Storm prevailing and they have already met this season with the Storm blowing them off the Park in Melbourne 26-4,last season we took Manly to get home in a close one and they did with Matt Orford kicking a Field Goal in the dying moments to get Manly a one point win,this game is huge and when yu line both sides up you have to say that the Storm are the better side,Manly missing Watmough makes you believe that even more.

Manly sit in 1st place and had a great win over the Panthers last week,this week however we see the Sea Eagles playing against a side worthy of the Challenge that the Sea Eagles bring to their games,so the Sea eagles will have to be even better than they have been in recent times,the loss of Watmough for me is big,Manly can get by without him but in games such as this his effort and application is sure to be missed,the Sea Eagles are also without Lyon and are playing Menzies in at standoff,I like Manly and I think they are strong side but I also think that manly gets alot of luck in their games ratgher than playing far better than their opponenetws and this game is one where they pkay a side who don't get alot of luck but still continuie to win in the Storm.

The Strom come into this game in 2nd place on the Table but are playing about as well as what we all know they can,they lost to the Warriors in bad condidtions a few weeks ago now but bounced back last week by hammering the Titans,now while the Titans are no Manly it was intresting to note that the Storm changed some things last week as if they were getting ready for this game,they offloaded more in fact 8 times more than their average on the season and they also held the Titans to only two offloads in that game by attacking the player with the ball and smothering him almost in expectation of this game,all in all this game should be a great one with the best the NRL has to offer on show.

Recent Results and the spoils are spilt with ether side winning 3 a peice in the last 6 played,Manly have won the last 5 at Brookvale Oval against the Storm all in close wins.

The most interesting difference with these two sides are this though,the Storm offload the ball far less than the Eagles but still win games,How do they do it? That's easy they wear down their opponenets,they play hard and direct and in most games it works.How do manly win? Not exactly the same way,manly grind down teams but are great with second phase play,Manly offload the ball in their games twice as much as the Storm does and that is there manly gets their go forward,the Key to winning this game for either side? Manly need to muscle up and look to stop the freaks of the Storm side before they get going but that is easier said than done,the Storm have some of the best and quickest athletes in any sporting code in the world and the Storm play a very selfish game which rewards consistent play and that is the one area that the Storm are very good with Consistency.How do manly win this game,two things atrtitude in defence and play direct,whether the Sea eagles can do that remains to be seen,across the Park the Storm have a very steely game plan,play hard and play together,Manly are different,play hard and play to your stregths,that works against most sides but against the Storm manly run into a side who in essence are every bit as good as them in Defence and intensity,so really it's comes down to which side can get it right and take the chance when it comes,I have to side with the Storm in that regard.

I think allk in all that the Storm are a level above most sides in this comp and although they might sometimes look sluggish in most cases they do get up for buig games and this is no Different,maly have been cruising along and looking good but tonight they play the one team in this Comp who can match them and this season instead of the Sea eagles getting up by 1 point,I think it will be the Storm by that 1 point...Final Score Manly 12 - Melbourne 13...Good Luck.
