Champions League - MTK Budapest v Fenerbahce
6 August 2008
Preview By Tipster Almondeyed (Turkey)
Fenerbahce won first leg rather easy with 2-0. Both of the goals includes some luck but they also missed some chances unluckily. Fenerbahce controlled the game and they didn't give any chance to MTK. It was the first formal game of the season for the hosts.
For second leg 2-0 is a clear advantage but i don't think Fenerbahce will play to keep the advantage. Aragones stated this fact in last interview along with Roberto Carlos. Transfer window is still open and any disappointing game here will put some pressure on team management and players. Fenerbahce is the most fragile team of the country in this aspect. I am sure they are aware of that and they will try to do their best.
Another aspect is here that Fenerbahce is like last season very offensive this year too. At least their line up consist of players who has better offensive abilities. New transfer Guiza lastly commented that he failed to score in first game and he want to score in second game very much. Even defenders Gokhan Gonul, Roberto Carlos and Lugano are very offensive players.
Aragones is still a question mark in my mind. I am not sure that he will be successful. But i think his team has too strong for MTK and can win this match as well. In our local bookie Fener win odd is 1.25 only.
Probably line ups:
MTK
Vegh; Horvath, Bori, Nagy, Lambulic; Urban, Pollak, Zsidai, Pinter; Patkai, Balogh
Fenerbahce
Volkan; Gökhan, Lugano, Edu, Carlos; Kazim, Selcuk, Alex, Ugur; Semih, Güiza
Pick: Fenerbahce
