I have to say that Dempster is killing the opponents right now, this guy in home games is “just” 10-1 and 2.72 ERA but lately he increased even more his game, in the last 3 games he is with the microscope numbers of 0.86 ERA 1.0 WHIP and 2-0, even more important is that 2 of the 3 games were road games where Dempster had some problems this season. Today Dempster look to keep up the excellence of his game.

Meanwhile the Astros turn to Bryan Moehler 4.23 ERA 6-4. Moehler had a bad outing against the Reds to immediately bounce back in the next game against the Reds. He has been consistent lately as the Astros are 8-2 Under in their last 10 games with Moehler in the mound. This season he already faced the Cubs twice and in both games he was impressive allowing only 4 runs in 12 innings.
