MLB - LA Dodgers v Arizona
3 August 2008

Today the LA dodgers host the Arizona Diamondbacks...my pick for this one is on the Dodgers to win. The Pitcher for Arizona is Doug Davis who in his last appearance against LA only lasted 3 inning , gave up 4 runs , and posted a 12.00 era , 2.67 whip and allowed a .385 batting average. Pitching for the Dodgers is Jason Johnson who is 1-0 with a 1.38 era. The Dodgers clearly have the better pitcher in this match up. The aquisition of Manny Ramirez to LA is a magor offensive boost. Since Manny has arrived to LA he has looked very comfortable and very productive on offense. Looking at Arizonas offense you would think that they would put up more runs considering as a team they had the highest batting average in July .....but when you look at their final scores they are only putting up about 2 or 3 runs per game .....which means Arizona is not getting hits when they really count. The Dodgers have the advantage on both offense and defense in this match up.

Pick :
LA Dodgers to win

Odds :
1.85

Stake :
10 / 10
