Last season Olympique Lyon won the double for the 1st time in their history, today the can win the treble by winning the Super Cup final against Bordeaux.

Olympique Lyon played the Super Cup from 2002 till 2007, winning them all! in 2002 5-1 against Loirent, in 2003 2-1 against Auxerre, in 2004 1-1 (7-6p) against PSG, in 2005 4-1 against Auxerre, in 2006 1-1 (5-4p) against PSG and in 2007 2-1 against FC Souchaux. Thats a 6-0 record for Olympique Lyon in their Super Cup history. Scoring 15 goals in 6 games, while only conceding 6! Olympique Lyon have a great team, they will play with last season top scorer Karim Benzema,Juninho,Fred,Govou,Grosso,Chris,Baros,Kallstrom and some more great players.

Even if Olympique Lyon won't win the Super Cup today, which seems unlikely to me, than it will be after 90 minutes. Not earlier!

Bordeaux finished in 2nd position last season, 4 points behind Olympique Lyon. Bordeaux played 1 Super Cup in their history, that was back in 1999 when they lost aganst Nantes 1-0. So no good memories for the home team today. Bordeaux have a good team, but not as good as Lyon's. A couple of key players for Bordeaux are: Diarra, Fernando, Bellion, Cavenaghi and Chamakh.

Last season Olympique Lyon won both games, 4-2 at home, and 3-1 in Bordeaux. I expect a low scoring game today, probably 1-1 or 1-0 for the visitors. Im sure that the best team in France will improve to 7-0 record in Super Cups. For Bordeaux...they will keep their 0% in Super Cups. Good luck!
