WTA - Aleksandra Wozniak v Jelena Jankovic

20 year ol Wozniak is a future star and is improving quite well, grabbing a very nice win in Stanford ten days ago, beating Schiavone, Bammer, Stosur, Serena and Bartoli. She lost 6-0, 6-1 the following game in Los Angeles, but i think it was a rather normal defeat after such an effort to win the Stanford even. Stanford was her first ever tournament win in WTA.

Jankovic is not playing that much, and after a month without playing after Wimbledon, she reached the semi's in Los Angeles, some days ago, losing to Safina, after beating Petrova, Czink and Vania King.

I think Wozniak is fresher than Jankovic, even that she played the first round and Jankovic not. Wozniak showing a good competitive form and very motivated after the marvelous win in Stanford. +5.5 looks a solid handicap.
