ATP - Nikolay Davydenko v Carlos Moya

Pathetic that Janko Tipsarevic wasn't able to finish Moya in such shape. I don't care that Serbian was playing with small injury, he had so much chances to put this match on his side and didn't use any of them a real shame! Both played very weak yesterday. Moya won 7:6, 7:5, he served quite well, especially in compression with his last perform in Toronto, but still many aspects of his play look poor. Any player by now who would focus on game against Moya not against own weaknesses should burn ground under Spaniard feet. Moya isn't prepared for long exchanges and long matches, this is my opinion. Davydenko he is a kind of riddle man, we all know that there's been some bad smell about him and setting up matches, but still he proved that he is world class player. Even if he isn't in perfect form, and from Wimbledon didn't show anything special I see him today as a strong favourite. I hope he didn't sell this match or something. Davydenko poses one of the fastest reflex and I think he will have no problems with returning Moya serve, first or second. In exchanges even if Russian is in low form he should handle it. Week ago he won 2:0 against Haas who is much stronger by now than Moya. He loss in second round against Kiefer, but German played wonderful tournament there. I think it's time not for some strange loses in first rounds but for some better scoring for Russian. It's been a while since he won Warsaw tour and I think he might to take few points in coming US Open pre-tours. Today match should be easy for Nikolay if he will only want to win this truly.
