Eircom League - Shamrock v Sligo Rovers
After really bad start Shamrock started to pick up points, they've lost only one of their last eight, picking eight points in last four. At home they have been good lately, beating Galway and drawing with Cobh, Derry and Drogheda. But the greatest surprise was their draw with St. Pats in last round. Shamrock was even better team and could have won it. For this match Shamrock finally won't have bigger injury issues as they will "only" miss their long-term absentees Martin, Creevy and Mulhall.
Sligo is in total contrast to Shamrock. Descending form after good start of the season saw them picking points mostly against lower placed teams. But that isn't the biggest problem for them... In July they've faced financial crisis, losing few of the first team regulars like Murphy (Bohs), star striker Kuduzovic (Drogs) and McKenzie (Apollon Limasol). In total only 14 professional senior players left in the club. To make problems even more deep, striker Judge injured himself in last match, another striker - Feeney is also out with an injury, while Coleman is questionable for this match. To conclude, Sligo can't fill team with only senior players, as they don't have enough of them!!! Even with that problems, they've won Harps in last home game 4:1, they've draw with Galway away 1:1, but those are weak teams. Shamrock is something else, they will pick up in form and as they are without problems probably win today.
This handicap of -0,25 is great offer by bookies and is worth of good shot...
