I think i'll go home next week when I get back from a stay with some Aboriginals.(I have'nt seen any Bush like back home so I i'm geussing the "Bush" to them means the desolate outback and not real bush like back home),I geuss i'll soon find out anyway...
Sanity prevails as Gavin Badger who refed that MNF Game has been stood down and after sending off Ryles last week when the Storm payed the Dragons was just unbeleivable and so stupid,if anything Slater should of been sent off for throwing those light little hook shots in while the Dragons player was being held on to,anyways Slater is gone for this game but that does'nt change much,it is still the Storm and they are still very good, the weather back Home I see has turned to shit again and is meant to set in for the weekend,so I think that and the Warriors form of late should keep this game very close.
The Storm won last Monday against the Dragons pretty easily in the end in wet conditions ad that should suit them this weekend also as the weather back home is shit and is expected to be shit all weekend long ,the Storm are great at grinding out games in bad conditions and this should be no different, while Slater is'nt there for them they do have talent across the park and when it matters most have the quality about them to win games and that shoud see them right again this weekend.
The Warriors thrashed the Bulldogs last weekend and have now won 3 in a row against the Dogs,Cowboys and Tigers, but what they are about to face in the Storm is a major step up from those sides and although the Warriors will feel confident that they are a chance here I really don't know if there truly are, they are still leaking points in their second halves and really the only thing on the Warriors side is that they have a near full stregth side out on the field but whether that will be enough is still to be seen,I suspect it won't be and the Storm will once again grind out a win in Auckalnd.
Recent results and the Warriors have won only 2 of their last 7 against the Storm and in Auckalnd the Storm have won 3 of the last 5 there, including the last two,but no win has been by nore than 12 points.
We all know that the Storm at home are one thing but away from home they are something else, there is a trend ingames between these two sides that the Storm win 2 and lose the 3rd and it has happened in the last 9 games, the Storm win 2 against the Warriors and then lose the third, this game is the third of this set of games and is being played back here, but really even wthout Slater the Storm should be to strong for the Warriors and in wet conditions it could be even worse, the Storm are great grinders away fromhome, who can forget when the Storm came here minus their Origin Stars and won 2-4 last season? The most intresting thing about the Strorm away this season is that they played all of their Origin Period games without their stars on the road this season and it makes their for and against on the road hard to read, the Storm have scored only 120 points and have conceeded more letting in 142,but that is nothing compared to how much the warriors have let in this season and even though the Warriors defence has been better of late the Storms attack and defence has also been very, very good, the weather and the warriors to keep it close and lets look for the Storm to break that 3 game streak between these two sides and to grind out a win here in wet and Windy Auckland City(Home,I miss you,at least the Wild West Side of Auckland anyway)...Good Luck.
