D Day in the Tour de France. Arrive in the Alpe de Huez, in the last big mountain stage. The mountain is mythical, the Mother of All Climbs, the Queen Stage. Huez has 21 curves, each one with stories of attacks, Tours that are won and lost. About 15 km around 7 and 8% which, always, is decisive and creates enormous gaps. This Tour De France has all the cyclists very close and since this is the last mountain stage before the time-trial, the attacks must happen. The Croix de Fer, another special category climb, can brake some legs.

I think this bet is worth of a bigger risk. Goubert is clearly overrated after his perfomance in Hautacam, where he was 12th. Goubert has 38 years old and of course not fighting for the Tour. I think his experience payed of in Hautacam, but since then he has been sinkink in the classification, already in 28th place.

Goubert has nothing to lose or to win, Cunego has his honour to defend. Today he made a quite erratic race but he is in 12th and tomorrow he won't brake that easy.

The odds deserve a greater risk, since Cunego is really favourite in this one. Has the skills, motivation and form.
