WTA - Caroline Wozniacki v Andreja Klepac
The only reason I see for the game spread being so short in here is the fact Klepac will be playing on her home country, however she has never used that on her favor in here. First of all Wozniacki is one of the best players in the world and my favorite to win this tournament. Also the Danish player doesn't get happy for defeating her opponents. She is only happy when she destroys her opponents. Let's see what she has done against Top 100 players this season:
Australian Open - def Gisela Dulko 6-1 6-1 (ranked 38)
Australian Open - def Alona Bondarenko 7-6 6-1 (ranked 21)
Doha - def Marion Bartoli 6-2 6-3 (ranked 9)
Indian Wells - def Maria Kirilenko 6-2 6-0 (ranked 29)
Indian Wells - def Aiko Nakamura 6-0 6-2 (ranked 89)
Miami - def Marion Bartoli 6-3 6-1 (ranked 10)
Amelia Island - def Pauline Parmentier 6-3 6-1 (ranked 48)
Berlin - def Tatiana Golovin 7-6 6-2 (ranked 21)
Rome - def Tamira Paszek 6-3 6-0 (ranked 46)
Roland Garros - def Yvonne Meusburger 6-0 6-2 (ranked 91)
Eastbourne - def Tsvetana Pironkova 6-3 6-2 (ranked 40)
Eastbourne - def Svetlana Kuznetsova 6-2 6-2 (ranked 4)
Wimbledon - def Aleksandra Wozniak 6-1 6-1 (ranked 94)
During the whole season, Wozniacki has never gotten tired of destroying players, especially on hardcourt, clearly her best surface. She is just 18 years old, but she is incredibly mature and the only way who can stop her now on fast surface is to hit stronger than her (only some world class players can do it) or be have an unbelievable defensive games (like Jankovic). Well, Klepac doesn't have neither characteristics and she's going to pay the price for that.
The Slovenian player is just 2-3 on this tournament and she has never beaten a really good hardcourt player in here. Actually the two players she has even beaten in here was a player out of Top 500 and Oprandi, who was hopeless outside clay. Klepac has now reached the Top 100 (currently 99th), but she will struggle a lot against Wozniacki, who is coming from a defeat in the second round of Bad Gastein against Koryttseva on a third set tie-break. The Danish player is yet to lose twice in a row in the WTA circuit this season and she is 7-2-2 ATS after a loss this season. Wozniacki will totally slaughter Klepac today and not even the fact Klepac is coming from a WTA final on her last tournament and she's playing at home will help her. Take Wozniacki minus the games in here. DOUBLE DIME PLAY.
