Rugby Union - Australia v South Africa
I am not going to scroll through both sides and go player for player because I have a firm idea as to how this game wil go regardless of whos on the field for either side,I have though looked at both sides nand do still think the Aussies are in with a hot here but will probaly come up that one step to short against the World Champion SpringBoks.
Running through both sides you can see what each side wants to do here today, the Boks after last week getting the Monkey off their backs against the AB's in NZ will target the lineouts imparticular and look to set uo their outside men with tactical kicking,it is the Boks plan to win and it probaly will work, the Bos side is very experienced again and should have to much for the Aussies but the Boks won't throw caution to the wind and will kep the game tight and construct plays to get the best out of the taent they have on oiffer and they have alot.
The Wallibies have named a very good side and will be looking to slow the ruck ball down for the Boks and with thenew law allowing to pull down the maul now look for the Aussies to keep trying to do that, the Aussies also have great speed out wide but lack that special player to link it all together,Giteau is not the best player in the world and setting up his outside men has always been a problem for him and aainst a tough defence like this Boks have he will struggle even more,I do though like the Aussies chances from broken play as the Aussies can string together passes and that is where they could get some joy against the Boks, but overall the Boks have the Wallibies in most areas of this game.
Only once have these sides played at Subiaco Oval and the Boks won in a thriller 19-22 and that is what i'm expecting this time around also,in fact the games between these two are always close with the Boks winning 5 and Australia 4 of the most recent 9 games,Only 3 games in that span has the Margin been more than 12 points and all those wins were to Australia in Australia,Australia have won their last two against the Boks in Australia and the last loss was when they last played at Subiaco Oval.
This Game is a huge danger game for the Boks as last weeks win over the All Blacks could either prove a great win or a hinder to their performance, they have done what they wanted to and now have to face the Aussies who are no easy beats thenmselves,so in alot of ways the pressure is onthe Boks to win here and not the Aussies as they are expected to lose,I think the Boks stil have the side toi get them home and I think they will they just seem to have a bot to much experience across the park and that should see the Boks home in a thirller...take the Boks by 12 points or less...Good Luck.
