ATP - Vincent Spadea v Donald Young
This match will put face to face a veteran against a youngster, who is yet to fulfill all the hype he gets. Vince Spadea is one of the most experienced player in the circuit and he must have regained a lot of confidence, after reaching semi finals last week in Newport. Spadea is still a very capable player when he can play with confidence and motivation and after such a good result for him in Newport, I'm sure he will be fired up to continue his good run in Indianapolis. He has a reasonable first serve and a terrific return shot, which makes him a real danger against inconsistent servers like Young.
Donald Young gets a lot of hype, but he is yet to do something really special. He is just 6-11 at ATP level this season and he has lost 7 of his last 10 matches. He is far from being a fighter on the court and he is the kind of player who really melts down if things start not going on his way. Spadea is the kind of player which literally takes advantage of every chances his opponents gives him and with Young that happens a lot during his matches. I think Spadea won't need a third set to win this, but even if he does, his experience will give him the win if the match is a close one. Take Spadea to win in here.
