Finn Harps Cork City FC
Injured troubled Harps host the hottest team in Eircom in the moment - Cork City. Harps so far didn't had good season, but they are still above relegation line and their absent players will soon return to team.
Harps defense have been worst in the league (along with Galways) with 1,71 gls per match. Harps concede more then one average even at home where they had some decent results, but so far they never won a point against teams from top six. In todays match they will again miss some players, namely Declan Boyle and Stuart Malcolm, same as long term injuries Gary Beckett and Cornelius Gallagher. Minnock and Labonte attended training in last few days, but they aren't 100% fit so they shouldn't be starters, while Mukendi is back from suspension. All in all, Harps team is in problems again.
Cork is, as i already said, the hottest team in league. Four wins in a row, 16 points won of possible 18 in last six rounds. In last eight games they've lost only to Bohemians away managing to twice return from 0:2 and win 3:2. Against strong Derry away, and in last round at home against Galway. That only shows that team never gives up. They are 2nd most efficient team in league, but lately they are at their top. 17 goals in last six rounds proves it - almost three goals per match average, incredible goal average for Irealand Eircom. Today they don't have any problems with injuries...
To conclude, we have Harps team, team that struggles whole season and has problems with injuries, on other side we have in-form team, without any absentees and with motivation of closing the gap between them and the leading duo. I can see Cork win today, they are way too efficient for team of Harps quality and they should score few, few more then hosts...
