Chivas is my favorite in recent weeks. They didn't start new season well but currently they are playing well recently. Last week they put pressure on Red Bull, equalized with a lucky goal but failed to find the winning goal. Red Bull keeper Conway made nine saves in that game.Chivas is at the end of a four games home series and they have to finish it with a victory before visiting Galaxy. This serie started with a undeserved loss against RSL where in all four games Chivas created more chances than opponents..
San Jose scored only a goal in last four games. Their offense is much below the league standards. However with a hard defense they time by time steal one point from offensively weak teams. They did this to Fire last week and few weeks ago against RSL. Coach Yallop happy with their defensive mentality but it doesn't work well imo against offensively strong teams.
San Jose will be without injured Glinton and Philippe where Cochrane, Kirovski and Smarte are doubtful. Galindo is the biggest worry for the home side.
Chivas haven't got a win against San Jose yet. They played four games in H2H matches where last two of them were won by San Jose and previous two were draws. I think it is time for them to break this run.
