NRL Rugby - Melbourne Storm v Season Winner

I'm in Sydney for the wekend and I am going to the Australia A vs NZ Maoris Rugby Union Game on Sunday,I will tip on it tomorrow most likely on here but I am also going to the Bulldogs game on Monday before heading home and I am also off to Melbourne tomorrow to go to the Storm game so all in all a very big weekend for myself and a couple of mates over here,I've never left NZ since being picked for the Junior Kiwis and comming over here to play a few games against Toowombaa and the Junior Roos when I was young,so i'm quite excited just to even be allowed out of the Country and to be here,the weather here is good,but fuck it's hot compared to back home,even at night,anyways...

It's that time of the season again when looking at some long term bets is a must,the odds on the Panthers making the top 8 have blown out and I already have them but I am quite eager to tip them to make the 8 again at far better odds but we will see,the Titans won't make the 8 and are justr blocking up space right now and they will fal out of there so the chasing sides just outside the 8 shoud be watched closely and $5 on the Panthers who are in 9th and have a good draw for the rest of the season should take the Titans spot in there,but for today we wil look at who will win the regular season.

The Top 4 as it stands has the Manly Sea Eagles at the top with 24pts and are leadig on Points difference with + 172,The Sydney Roosters are in 2nd place with 24 points also and have apoints difference of +93,the Surprising Sharks are in 3rd place with 24 points and +49 points difference and in 4th place are the Storm with 22 points and a points difference of + 109.

Manly have a tough end of season scedule and I am expecting the to have a bit of a downturn in a few weeks and lsoe a couple of games,heres their scedule and which games I think they will win and lose...Titans(W),Sharks(L),Eels(W),Roosters(L),Panthers(W),Storm(W),Bunnies(W),Tigers(W),Titans(W) and their last match Panthers(W),of these matches only 4 are at home for the Eagels and I expect them to win each match against the Eels,Storm,Panthers and Titans,their final round match although I have tipped them here to win it could be crucial and I would'nt be surprised if they lost that game to the Panthers if the Panthers are fighting for a spot in the 8 and back to ful strength both things I am pretty sure of happening,but as it stands the Sea Eagles will finish the regular season on 40 points with a great points difference.

The Sydney Roosters sit in 2nd spot right now and heres how I think the rest of their season will go...this week they have the bye,Titans (W),Raiders(W),Manly(W),Cowboys(W)Eels(W)Storm(L)Sharks(L)Bunnies(W),Dragons(L),the Roosters have 5 home matches to finish their season on from now against the Tians,Manly,Eels,Bunnies and Dragons,if they finish how I think they will they will be in the Top 4 on 38 points and will end in 3rd place on the season.

The Sharks have been going very well and should hold onto a Top 4 position,heres the end of their season...they have the bye this week,Manly(W),Knights(W)Broncos(L)Dragons(W)Bunnies(L)Warriors(W)Roosters(L)Tigers(W) and Cowboys(W),the Sharks are having a great season and will make the top 4 but I don't think they will get any higher than 4th spot,the two matches that intrigue me the most in their run in are the games comming up soon against the Dragons and Bunnies,the Sharks don't have a good record against either side and while I have them as losing one of those games there is every chance they will lose both,but if this rings true the Sharks wil make the Top 4 on 38 points.

Now the reigning Premeiers the Melbourne Storm...Raiders(W)Titans(W)Dragons(W)Warriors(W)Titans(W)Manly(L?)Roosters(W)Panthers(W)Knights(W)Bunnies(W),the most intresting thing about the Storms end of season from here on in is that they play all their hardest games in Melbourne with the one excepetion being against the Eagles and that game last season Manly won by a single point when Orford kiced the field goal to win that game,I am not to sure if the Eagles can do that again this season or not but at Brookvale I am giving them every chance of doing that again,so if this rings true then the Storm will finish on 40 points also and be equal with the Eagles and it will come down to points difference.

I like Melbourne to win the regular season from here on in,unlike the other sides the Storm play their biggest games against the Rrosters and Eels at home and they also play a number of the sides I am expecting to start sliding like the Titans and Raiders at home which should boost their points difference,all the other sides get a few of their harder matches at home but the majority of them especially for the Roosters and Eagles are all away games,so with that in mind I think Melbourne have the squad to get the job done and should win the Regular season,so take it now...Good Luck.
