I feel like a broken record here, this is the third time in 3 weeks that I am about to tip the same team, they say third times a charm so lyes hope they are correct.
The Bulldogs went down last week to the table topping Roosters in what was a far better effort from the Bulldogs going down 24-14,meanwhile the Bunnies pulled off what was perhaps the best come back of the season at least anyway as they stormed back to snatch a win from 28-4 down to run out winnners 28-29,what a game.
I thought that effort from the Buldogs last week against the Roosters was far better than anything they have served up in the last two months and I think they can carry that on this week and finally get a win and stop the Bunnies winning strak,Williams will be better for the run this week and should do alot more than he did last week, they still are without a few forwards and most notably in the backs Tonga and Patten but the players they do have playing for them have been doing so for a while now and looked to be playing at a far better level than weeks gone by,Maitua is dropped to the bench and he was not very good at all to be honest and deserved to be,usually that makes him play far better off the bench,I like this Bulldogs side and although they have let us down the last few weeks they can't lose forever and if that game last week is anything to gauge from then the Bulldogs are'nt far away from a win at all.
Souths were awful last week for 55mins of that game and than all of a sudden were the greatest thing going as they scored 25 un anwersed points to win that game, but although they are winning I think that game last week gave a real good insight to the Bunnies and winning is all good but they have to keep winning and that is their problem nopw, they have to win and last week they got lucky as they were the favs and this match is no different and once again they are installed as Favs and that does not sit well on the Shoulders of the Bunnies, they have a very good side but they struggle to get going,Wing is in again this week and he Sutton and Luke all need to stand up tonight to get them a result, the real thing for me about this game and the Bunnies is can they repeat that dose from last week two weeks in a row and when I ask myself that I think maybe not.
Recent results and the Bulldogs have won 3 straight agaist the Bunnies and beat them twice last season when they were going very well also and beat them in Round 2 this season also, the Bulldogs have won 16 of the last 19 played between the two clubs.
I think the Bulldogs showed they have plenty to build on for next season and this season last week,I thought their defence up to a point was very good and although the Roosters were missing a few for that game I thought the Bulldogs really got soemthing out of that game and will be fired up this week to dish out some more and the Bunnies will be on the recieving end of it,the Bunnies went well last week and have now won 3 in a row against the Warriors,Titans and Cowboys, but their wins have been only just wins nothing comprehensive,I reckon the Bulldogs will get them tonight and i'm going to stick with them to get the job finally done tonight and stop the Bunnies run in doing so...Take the Doggies.....Good Luck.
