One of the biggest highlights of the day at the All-England Club will definitely be the clash between Roger Federer and Lleyton Hewitt. These two know each other really good, H2H is 13-7 in Fed's favor, but it should be mentioned that last 11 clashes were won by the Swiss superstar. The fact that two of them know each other so good will just hurt the Australian today as he is the worse one of the two. It's tru that Hewitt loves to play on grass but he isn't moving nearly as good as he used to do in the past, and, regardless of his occasional glances and brilliant shots he won't have a chance against Federer today. As I've already said the big favs are already pretty warmed up by the start of the second week and I think FedEx will demonstrate his full power today and maybe even try to scare off Nadal a bit with an impressive win.
Last time these two played on grass was at Wimbledon in 2005 reaching the mark of 32 games and I think that's sort of some line that bookies go by when setting this total up. However, lots has changed since than and Hewitt really struggled a lot, today I'd say he is a huge underdog and I don't think he'll even manage to get to a single TB. At this point, Federer can have bigger trouble only against some great server which Hewitt isn't and his baseline play will prove to be harmless for Roger. So all in all, an easy win is expected and some 6-4 6-2 6-2 should be enough for the Swiss to keep his energy level up for the next clashes, and of course for the under to be won.
