ATP - Roger Federer v Lleyton Hewitt
This will be the best match of the fourth round with two former champions going head to head. Both Federer and Hewitt are world class grass courters and they will give us one of the best matches of the season for sure. Federer has been amazing in this tournament, but in the first real test in here, he "only" defeated Soderling by 6:3 6:4 7:6. Even though this was due to the big serve of the Swedish player, also Hewitt has only been broken once in this tournament and it was in the first round against Haase. It's true that Hewitt bases his great on his groundstrokes and his great movement on court, but his serve is clearly underrated, especially on grass. He has already served 41 aces in this tournament, while Federer has "just" served 34. He has won 85%, 85% and 93% of the points played on his first serve, showing how his serve is a big weapon in here.
It's true that Federer is the best grass courter in the world and there is no way he is going to lose today. His serve has been great in this tournament and he has been returning well, but Hewitt's amazing fighting spirit will never allow him to give up, even if he gets down 2-0 in sets during the match. This will be a great match and Federer has a lot of respect for Hewitt. I expect Federer to win in 3 or 4 sets, but with at least one tie-break being played in here. This is the first major test for Federer and the game spread is almost the same it was against Gicquel. Hewitt is way better than the previous opponents of Federer in here and there is no way he will disappoint on the centre court against the world number one. Hewitt is serving extremely well and his return game is always good serve to sneak a break on Federer's serve everytime they play each other. Take Hewitt plus the games in here.
