Carnegie League - Kildare County v Waterford

Another pusher for promotion is Waterford Utd. will try to build on their last win over Dundalk (1:0) and put more pressure on leading duo, maybe even jump over them in their todays clash with Kildare.

Waterford, after not so great start of the season, is improving from match to match and with opponent of Kildare quality they shouldn't have too much problems. For this match they will again miss Stephen Quigley and Paul McCarthy, and also Willie John Kiely after he picked up four yellow cards this season. John Kiely is their best scorer with six goals, but as they have nine players except him who scored a goal or more (probably the most in league) i don't think he will be largely missed.

Kildare are living good days now. 2:2 draw with Sporting Fingal, then next round of FAI Cup after eliminating lower league side Fanad 3:0. But they've lived dangerous life in both games and results maybe show more then they did on the pitch. Anyway, Kildare is 2nd worst team to Athlone with worst defense in the league and 2nd worst home record of the league. Since they will play their third match in eight days and they are much less professional then Waterford i don't see them getting much from this match. Waterford will remember them good as they were losing on HT in their first clash of the season and that should be a warning sign for them. I think they remember it good and this time won't risk anything. Away win for me
