Euro 2008 - Germany v Turkey

Being Turkish and writing something on behalf of Turkish NT is very difficult as many of you may tend to think I am not realistic and fair by being nationalist. I feel very much Turkish but I am not backing Turkey just because of my nation because I have some facts which I will just mention why I believe it is a good idea to place low stakes on Turkey not to loose.

First of all this is a semi final of EC and there is no team in Europe who can reach this level and can not motivate to a match like this. I believe it is very important to win the game in your mind before you kick the ball. If you fear of your rival you already lost a big chance in winning. TURKEY IS MOTIVATED AND HAS A HIGH TEAM SPIRIT.

Even so many injured and suspended players Turkey may begin very aggressive and make the field like hell for Germany, I mean they can stop Germany and if they manage the first goal during the 2. half Germany may become nervous and suddenly the chances may be equal or even Turkey may turn to the favorite. TURKEY HAS ENOUGH ENERGY TO SCORE AT LEAST A GOAL.

There is an interesting note about Czech Rep. check it now:-- in 1996 Germany the winner of EC had beaten Czech Rep. with 1 goal in 95. minute. In 2000 France the winner of EC had beaten Czech Rep. in group stage. In 2004 Greece the winner of EC had beaten Czech Rep. in semi final. In 2006 Italy the WC winner also had beaten Czech Rep. in group stage. IN 2008 EC, TURKEY HAD BEATEN CZECH REP. IN GROUP STAGE.

Low the coach of German NT had come on field against Terim the coach of Turkish NT team 3 times. He lost two and drew 1 of those matches in Turkey while he was the coach of Fenerbahce and while Terim was of Galatasaray. TERIM NEVER LOST AGAINST LOW

I do understand why some people think it is a big disadvantage that Tutkey has 9 missing players. Today they will play with 11 men and all those players are at least above the standards of many leagues of many countries in Europe. What is the point of thinking that Arda, Tuncay, Nihat or Servet are vital for the team. As their substitutes are also great players in their teams and there are still class players in this squad from class clubs such as Rubin Kazan, Bayern Munich, Fenerbahce, Galatasaray Besiktas. I know German players are awesome but are they 10 times better than Turks? TURKISH PLAYERS HAS ENOUGH CLASS.

Germany may be shocked when Gokdeniz and Kazim brings Jahmsen ineffective as they have higher technique. Metzelder and Mertesacker may be great players but if Turkey plays from lower then these German players may fail. Balack is awesome but Aurelio and Mehmet Topal without doubt can easily lock him. Fritz has limited skills and can not threat Turkish NT. Gomez is a disaster striker of EC 2008. Klose ??? if he changed his name before this tournament and disguised then would we talk about him? GERMANY IS NOT A TEAM THAT CAN NOT BE BEATEN.

Why are the odds so unfair? Is it because Turkish players got paid to loose this game? Or are there 2 teams against them? For me betting on sports means to grab the opportunities when they are right outside of your door. There is a good opportunity and I will benefit and I will recommend and I have plenty reasons for this. Good luck.
