Spain Italy
Spain gave one of the best performances so far on this tournament. They are pretty well composed team and their attacking line is one of the best, if not the best line on this tournament. Today they will face Italy, team that is underperforming big time on this Euro and with troubles that they have in the defensive and in the creative part they will have huge troubles against the hottest attacking line composed by Torres and Villa.
Holland and Croatia were the teams that took all 9 points from group stage and were eliminated round after that. I rate Spain much better team than Italy, and absences that Italy has in injured players like Materazzi, Barzagli and suspended Gatuso and Pirlo will make Italian defense pretty slow and with fast Spain attacking line they will be on huge troubles. My only fear for this bet is Luca Toni who is having too much missed opportunities and that will have much shorter defense against him today. I know that the World champion should never be underestimated, especially in so important matches and poor history of Spanish NT on big tournaments, but I am pretty confident that Spain is better than Italy on every position (except on GK position) and that will advance into the semifinals.
