World Cup 2010 Qual. - Ecuador v Colombia
18 June 2008
Preview By Tipster Kastos (Greece)
Ecuador is four points away from the 4th place and matches in its home against not "huge names" should be won if they want to have any chances to qualify.Ecuador comes from an away draw 1-1 against Argentina,a match which i saw and left me very good impression for Ecuador. They played very well in counter attacks, their defence was for the 1st time as visitors very well organised and left no spaces for the argentinians who scored in 94',in the last shoot of the match with a controversial goal.Tonight i don't think that they will attack from the start but will be patient as a defeat in its home against Colombia will probably minimize their chances.
Colombia on the other hand is third and wants at least a point to stay in the 1st places. They are not convincing as visitors as they had drew against the two bootom teams Peru(1-1) and Bolivia(0-0) but they have the best second defence after first Paraguay and this is their main weapon which will use in order to get something from this match. They will sit back waiting for Ecuador to leave spaces and then hit in the counter,as firstly they don't want to lose.
My opinion is that it is a very risky match to take any bets but this special bet really looks pretty good for me and in fair odds as i believe that the 1st half will end goalless.Hope to be right and hope after 31' at least a goal to be scored.
