Euro 2008 - Russia vs Sweden Football betting preview

Despite the fact that they were trashed in the first match against Spain, Russian team showed good spirit and great physical preparedness on this tournament. They are team with most kilometers run so far and they are playing pretty good, attacking football.

Spain played very offensively too in their two matches so far mainly because their defense is not their strongest point. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is shining on this tournament and it will be extremely tough to be defended by Russian defense. He got small injury on previous match and was under big question mark for this match, but the medical team gave green light for him to play, so we will see the best and most dangerous Sweden played once again in starting eleven.

Russia finally gets back suspended Arshavin, without a doubt the best Russian player lately and one of the most exciting players at the moment in Europe. He has huge influence on this team and his presence on the field will give confidence boost of his teammates too. Russia has pretty good generation and Hiddink is doing great job over there. Now they have chance to advance into the quarter finals, but for achieving that, they must beat Sweden. Sweden is not unbeatable team and I rate Russian team a better one for this clash. They are running a lot, they are creating many chances and with their very fast attacking line against slow Sweden defense I gave them pretty good chances for taking the three points. I am not saying that they will have an easy job, but I believe that they are capable of getting out a winners today.
