Well that's another one I like very much and feel quite confident is going to cash in. I'm not sure why originally I thought Czech Republic are a good side, was thinking to back them in the opening match, and thanks God I didn't do it. They've won the game in the end, but millions of people know it was a very lucky win as they've scored on basically their first and only chance, which wasn't even a chance, rather lack of attention of the Swiss defenders when Sverkos got one on one with Benaglio. Could be a first impression, could be terrible form for Karel Bruckner's men which were lacking creativity that was obvious.
I'm wondering if Czechs allowed so many chances on goolie to Switzerland, what will happen against Portugal? The Turks got "killed" in the opening match by the pace of Ronaldo and Simao, and looked helpless up front either: Carvahlo and Pepe never looked like wavering at the back against an usually fanciful Turkish side, why would Czech Republic do more?
I'm sure Scolari wants to get it done as soon as possible, and only a victory would do the job for them. Of course that doesn't mean they'll rush forward too much, actually expect a tight match, but Portugal have got great individuals, and get well as a team too, so they can score from everything, their counter-attacks being of course the most easy way to score considering the type of players they have, and the style they play.
