Euro 2008 - Austria v Croatia

The Croatians head into this game full of confidence and knowing that a win will stand them in good stand to qualify for the next round.

While they take on the arguably worst team in the Championship that is barely ranked in the top 100 in the world, Croatians will be coming on with full guns blazing tonight.

Most of the Austrian players don't have the experience outside in Austria, where as that makes a big difference for the Croatian players. With Jurgen Macho probably in goal, and lacking form at this point, it gives a good chance for the Croations to exploit.

Petric, Olic and Klasnic are expected to lead the front line while boss Bilic has recommended that Tottenham midfielder Luka Modric will steal the show and create the magic and inspiration that they require.

While the home support is definitely there, the side that has a lot of confidence coming into this tournament are expected to even give Germany a run for their money in the group fixture, should comfortably see through this game with an easy victory, probably 2-0.

Player to Watch: Vedran Corluka, his presence in the team after having a solid season with Manchester City, could prove a deciding factor with the team, and help stablilize their defence.
