I agree here with Gazier, but my stake is much higher, as I see no other player scoring more goals. It is possible that a. e. Streller scores the same number of goals, in this case I will get 1.25 for my bet, still a small win (2,5 units), if we have 3 players (including Frei), the loss would not be big (-1,7 units). Alexander Frei is the most prolific Swiss striker since Stephane Chapuisat. He has not an equal replace if he gets injured. Marco Streller has not his class, he couldn´make it in the Bundesliga, that´s why he returned to Switzerland (Basel). It´s too much, that speaks in favor for Frei. Swiss coach Kuhn has only 3 forwards in the squad, Frei, Streller and the young (20y) Derdiyok, a very talented player, but he is only substitute. I have to mention good players like Hakan Yakin, Barnetta, Gygax or Vonlanthen, but they are not goalgetters. A goalgetter and probably forward No2 is Blaise Nkufo (22 goals for Twente in last season), but he is injured. Frei scored 35 goals in 59 caps, a new record in Swiss football, he takes penalties and free-kicks, he is the main man in the Swiss squad. This year Switzerland played 4 friendlies: 1-2 England, 0-4 Germany, 2-0 Slovakia, 3-0 Liechtenstein. 3 of those 6 goals scored Frei, the other 3 Derdiyok, Behrami and Vonlanthen. In WC 2006 in Germany Switzerland scored 4 goals: 2 Frei, 1 Barnetta, 1 Senderos. I think 2 goals again would be enough to win this bet.
