Euro 2008 - Netherlands vs To Qualify Football betting preview

Group C

Italy, France, Netherlands and Romania

After seeing the qualifications, I must say that Italy and France are far away from their best days. I know, big teams are playing well on big tournaments, but change of generation and out of form players will be their big disadvantage. Netherlands are team full with great players, van Nistelrooy, van Persie, Robben, Sneider, van der Vaart… great mixture of experience and youth and that should be van Basten’s winning combination. Romania is without a doubt the weakest team in the group and Netherlands should not have problems against them. Italy after winning the World Cup is playing terrible, and now they are without two payers of great importance from that generation, Totti and Cannavaro. Lack of leadership, many strange calls for this championship makes me to think that Netherlands should have better score than them. The same thing goes for France, but they have too many great individuals, despite poor football they are playing. In this group, in this competition, I rate Netherlands in first two positions, definitely above Italy and Romania. Netherlands to make to the quarter finals is my bet.
