Euro 2008 - Austria v Special Bet Football betting preview

In this group the problem will be to see which team will reach the third place. I consider Germany too strong to have problem in this group, the unique team that could make problem to them could be Croatia but I am not sure that Germany will leave points also against them.

Croatia, as I said in my other comment, is not very exciting or transcendental team but they are a compact team very good in the midfield and in the attack and little bit slow in the defensive line. The other two teams don’t have any possibility to compete for the promotion. In my idea Poland is a complete team with experienced players in every part of the field, in the defensive line Bak is the pivot of a solid defence; in the midfield there are two strong players like Krzynówek and Smolarek the unique part with a little bit of deficiency is the attack where Matusiak and Zurawski have to show their value in the international competitions.

The last of this analysis is the tournament organizer, Austria. This team will pay their inexperience and also the fact that they didn’t play the qualification. In the recent past the Austrian team played more or less ten friendly and they won only one time, too poor results to leave quit their supporters.

The players called to play this Championship are more or less unknown, in the defensive line Pogatetz and Prodl will try to limit the troubles. In the midfield Ivanschivtz and Garics should be the strongest players and this clarifies the situation. In the attack line there is the empty, Vastic and Hoffer can’t make problem to the other defence.

For me Austria will finish at the bottom of their group with 0-3 points.
