This bet is a head to head duel between Ballack and Ribery.
I’m far from being a patriotic guy and even if I’ll be cheering for my team I have to admit that I found some good value on this head to head.
I am very worried about my team, as I saw them playing quite poorly in the latest friendly matches, I just think that they are far from being ready for this competition. Ribery is the only valuable offensive player who is able to create something but his great activity often results on poor decision making and kinda weak shots. Although being untouchable at his position Franck has rather poor stats with 4 goals in more than 30 caps, including two penalty kicks recently scored. France will have a tough schedule and will play against strong defensive organization that will be tough to crack. I can’t occur the fact that their last game is against Italy which smells a 0-0 draw.
Ballack on the other side is the boss of the Mannschaft. He takes the penalty kicks, shoots free kicks, has a great long range shoot, and of course is one of the best player at header. With Germany having a quite easier way in this competition we can speculate on the fact that they will play at least 4 games which is not the case of France. Taking all this factors into consideration I can’t see any other out come than Ballack outscoring Ribery.
