I was kind of out of ideas what to bet on today and I have almost decided not to bet on anything, till I found this game. I see a great value on a home win odds and I will explain why is that.Firstly lets take a look at the table positions. Hosts are last in the league with 5 consecutive losses, while Stars have a 2-2 record and they are currently 7th in the league. At the first sight you might think, hey this is a clear away win, but this should not be the case here. It is true that Comets lost all their games so far, but they played only once at home and that was a week ago when they lost to Minesotta in OT (92-98 OT). Let me remind you that Minesotta won all their games so far. The other four games were all away from home and all but one were very tight until the end. Two nights ago they lost by a single point to Seattle (64:63) who hold a 5-1 record, before that they went down by 7 points at Sacramento (73:66) and also lost against Washington by 3 points (69:66).Stars who have 50/50 record may have won both home games, but their away performance is quite the opposite as they lost both to Sacramento (73-64) and Seattle (78-57) respectively. Now neither of the teams have some sort of injury problems as all players are fit and ready to play. This will be some sort of "derby" as both come from Texas and when it comes to this kind of games, both teams are motivated. However, Comets weren`t that bad at all and their record doesn`t reflect their true capabilities that is why I think odds on home win would be way smaller if it weren`t for their record. Bad luck must end eventually and this should be the right game for that. I am sure they will be fired up for this game and this odds are way too generous to miss `em. Strong 8 units on a home win!
