ATP - Robin Soderling v Julien Bennetau
There is something a player doesn't want to have to do at all and that's play a match against a top player, after having played five sets on clay the day before. That's the scenario for Benneteau in here and I really can't see how he will be able to compete in this match, after such an effort yesterday to beat Falla. He needed 3 hours and 48 minutes to defeat Falla yesterday and if that wasn't enough, he also needed five sets to defeat Spadea in the first round three days ago, spending an additional 3 hours and 11 minutes in that game. Benneteau must be extremely tired by now and after losing the first set, he should just start thinking in the grass season, which is coming soon.
Robin Soderling has been one of the hottest players in the circuit lately and he showed that by defeated Juan Monaco and Paul Capdeville in straight sets in his first two matches in here. The Swedish player is a very strong baseline player and Benneteau would need to be at 100% physically, in order to counter the aggressive baseline game of the Swedish player.
Benneteau is simply dead tired right now and Soderling is the type of player, who just rolls over his opponent, if he isn't at 100%. The Swedish player will face Federer next and he won't want to waste any extra energies against Benneteau today. Take Soderling to win in straight sets in here.
