World Cup 2010 Qual. - Uganda v Niger

Another African qualifier, where the win on home team is a banker (@1.40). Uganda (92. in WR) plays Niger (158.) in Kampala (the other teams in this group are Angola and Benin). Uganda failed to qualify for the last ANC just because of one single goal: Zambia had 9-3(+6), Uganda had 8-3(+5) goal difference. Now they try again, Angola and Benin are no mighties and Niger is the clear outsider, the weakest team in the group. Uganda and Niger met in the previous quali, Uganda won 3-1 at home, 0-0 draw in Niger. Uganda can beat anybody at home, even the giants like Nigeria (they did it last year), Ivory Coast, Cameroon and Egypt. They are not good enough to gain a place in South Africa, but they should reach the next round of this quali. For Uganda plays Ibrahim Sekagya (Red Bull Salzburg), I saw him live playing, a very good defender. There are a few others playing outside Uganda, in the USA, Rwanda, South Africa, Iceland, Serbia and even Vietnam(!). But most of the squad plays in Uganda. Niger belongs to the minnows in African football. At home they can take something from the stronger teams, but away they are harmless. To compare these two teams just check the last quali for the ANC, Uganda had 3-2-1 8:3(+5) 3-0-0 at home, Niger had 1-1-4 5:11(-6) 0-0-3 away. Uganda win 2-0 or 3-1 is my call.
