WTA - Iveta Benesova v Australian Open Winner
Iveta Benesova looks unstoppable right now and she is climbing the rankings unbelievably fast. She has an amazing chance to get to a Grand Slam fourth round for the first time on her career and she is playing so well that I don't see a way of this not happening today. Benesova defeated Vaidisova and Peng very easily in the first two rounds in here and she is now 14-3 in the European clay season, with losses against Kirilenko, Srebotnik and Zvonareva. Benesova has already a lot of experience in Grand Slams (she plays them since 2002) and she is the kind of player, who doesn't seem to struggle when she plays a match where she is obligated to win.
Petra Cetkovska is basically a player who uses to play ITF tournaments and she actually had a good run, by winning two of those just before this tournament. She defeated Alona Bondarenko in the first round, who destructed herself once again and then she struggled a lot to beat Galina Voskoeboeva in the second round, even needing to save a couple of set points in the 1st set, when she was down by 3-5. Cetkovska isn't half as good as her country mate Benesova and she doesn't have any kind of experience at this level. This is just the third Grand Slam she has played on her career until now and I can imagine how nervous she will enter the court today.
Benesova is clearly better than Cetkovska and she will take advantage of her better game and more experience to easily defeat her country mate in here. Benesova looks to be flying to inside the Top 50 again and her match against Ivanovic in the fourth round will be very interesting to watch. I don't see Benesova needing a third set to beat Cetkovska in here, so take her to win in straight sets. Regular Play.
