League 1 finals will be played on the Wembley stadium in London and the winner will be promoted to the Championship League.
Leeds, once a champions league contenders, won the first playoff stage over Carlisle, despite losing by 1-2 at home. They however won the 2nd leg by 2:0. Doncaster played a goalless draw away at Southend, but demolished them by a massive 5:1 at home.
Leeds ended on the 5th place (76 points) in the league, despite winning as many matches as the champions from Swansea, but they got 15 points deducted at the start of the season. Their opponents ended on the 3rd place (80 points) only 2 points behind direct promotion.
Leeds were in better form before this match, as they won 7 of last nine, 5 out of last 6 away games, while Doncaster won 4 out of last 12 games and did not win away from home in the last 6 games (3 draws & 3 losses).
Leeds surely have a better team, but this is a final and I expect a hard fought game with many tackles and not so many chances. They have full squad available, while Doncaster can`t count on injured defender Gareth Roberts who has a hamstring problem and midfielder Richie Wellens who is doubtful.Doncaster has won only three of their 16 previous meetings with Leeds, and lost 5 out of the last 6 matches against them. I expect Leeds to win, most likely by a narrow goal just like Hull City did yesterday. 1-0 should do! Good luck!
