MLB - New York Yankees v Baltimore Orioles Baseball betting preview

I’m betting on a big surprise on this one, we all know how MLB is great I surprises right? I’m putting my money on a big one here.

Well if I’m honest the real surprise for me was the orioles being considered as an underdog in here, they have everything to win tonight, better starting pitcher and batting better lately, similar bullpen. Lets see then.

Yankees are sending into the mound I kennedy, which has a season ERA of 8.77, pitching home to an ERA of 12.86! remarkably bad. Kennedy is really bad he allows more BB then Strikes out, he has pour control, lousy striking out ability, and allows a bunch of hits generally. He is going to stay in only a few innings, but enough to slump in my opinion.

The Orioles are sending in a much better guy into the mound – it’s B Burres which has a season ERA of 3.54 – burres will not stay long in the game also, but he has got a lot more potential then kennedy – strikes out a bit more, a bit more control, but mainly he allows a lot less hits – the differences in WHIP are great (1.345 vs 1.948)

In terms of bullpen orioles also have a small edge in here (3.24 vs 3.44) and the bullpen will be very important tonight.

Orioles are also batting a lot better recently (0.275 vs 0.221) so I’m expecting a comfortable win for the away team, and with these kind of odds I had to take it.
