MLB - Minnesota Twins v Texas Rangers
20 May 2008
Preview By Tipster Nvieira (Portugal)
Why, simply because until the bullpen kicks in , the texas rangers have everything in their favour to be in front of this one – they have a huge edge on starting pitcher and in batting, so why not?
Batting is quite clear the texas are doing so much better lately – 0.307 vs 0.245 and they have a bunch of players really confident now that can make their game.
In terms of pitching we have opposite players pitching , one going true a great moment, another going true a slump.
The twins are sending in Boof Bonser, he has a season ERA of 5.37, but has done remarkably bad lately – he has a last 3 games ERA of 9.00! It’s a fact he faced some hard teams to pitch against, but never the less this kind of stat is too bad. He has been showing a lack of control and a lot less ability to strike out then is usual.
The rangers are sending in Feldman a pitcher that has a season ERA of 2.49, and he has pitched in the last 3 games to a ERA of 1.86 – no only that he has a big advantage in the WHIP (0.983 vs 1.665) - Feldman has simply pitched great and the way the twins are hitting at the moment he should continue to do so.
The only reason I’m not going until the end of the game is because both pitchers will stay in the game 5,6 innings and the bullpen will play an important role in this one – which the Twins lead very heavily (2.02 vs 6.05) this kind of difference in bullpen can make to winner turn around in bullpen so, my safest bet is this one. Another bet I would seriously consider if I like chances is the following : half time/fulltime – Rangers – Twins @ 9 in fonbet!
But I’m staying in the safest one – this after 5 innings bet.
